Launched ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Launched platform, including the website at launched.app and the associated mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: Name, email address, password, and profile photo when you create an account.
• Coach profile data: Business name, specialties, certifications, bio, session types, pricing, location, and availability settings.
• Client data: Information about your coaching clients that you upload or enter, including names, email addresses, session notes, and progress tracking.
• Payment information: Billing address and payment method details. Payment card information is processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe) and is not stored on our servers.
• Content and files: Documents, images, videos, and other materials you upload to your resource library or knowledge base.
• Communications: Messages sent through our platform, support inquiries, and feedback.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, clicks, and navigation patterns.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and unique device identifiers.
• Log data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs.
• Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage. See Section 7 for details.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• OAuth providers: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email, and profile picture as authorized by you.
• Calendar integrations: If you connect Google Calendar or Outlook, we access your calendar events to manage availability and bookings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Create and manage your account, including your coaching app and marketplace profile.
• Process payments, subscriptions, and billing-related communications.
• Power AI features, including the AI coaching assistant, content generation, and smart recommendations. Your uploaded documents are indexed using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to enable personalized AI responses for your clients.
• Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, account notifications) and, with your consent, marketing communications.
• Provide analytics and insights about your coaching practice performance.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. AI Features and Your Data

Our platform includes AI-powered features that process your data to provide personalized coaching experiences:

• Knowledge Base Indexing: Documents you upload to your resource library are processed and indexed to enable your AI assistant to reference your coaching methodology when interacting with clients.
• AI Conversations: Conversations between your clients and the AI assistant are processed by third-party AI providers (OpenAI). We send only the minimum context necessary for each interaction.
• Content Generation: When you use the Grow tools to generate marketing assets, your brand profile and prompts are sent to AI providers.
• Data Retention: AI conversation logs are retained for 90 days for quality assurance and then automatically deleted. Your indexed knowledge base data persists until you delete it.

We do not use your data to train AI models. Your coaching content remains yours and is used solely to provide the Service to you and your clients.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: With trusted third parties who help us operate the Service, including cloud hosting (Vercel, Railway), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), analytics (PostHog), and AI providers (OpenAI).
• Your clients: Information you choose to make visible in your coaching app or marketplace profile is accessible to your clients and, for marketplace listings, the public.
• Team members: If you use an Agency plan, data may be shared with team members you invite based on their assigned roles.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest for sensitive data, secure authentication with session tokens, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements). Backups containing your data may persist for up to 90 days after deletion.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use the following types of cookies and similar technologies:

• Essential cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and core functionality. Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how you use the Service so we can improve it. We use PostHog for product analytics and Vercel Analytics for performance monitoring.
• Preference cookies: Remember your settings, such as theme preference and language.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data.
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the link in our emails.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

For significant changes, we may also send you a notification via email or through the Service.
